Thank You Card
As part of a project to capture the beauty of our college campus, I photographed key landmarks to showcase the atmosphere and spirit of the institution.
Backstory
A close-up shot from a lower angle of a fountain that I took for my school was selected to be featured on a thank you card that was given to donors. The card expressed gratitude for their support, using the image of the fountain to symbolize the college's dedication to growth and community.
About the Process
To capture the fountain's essence, I froze the water in time, ensuring the image was sharp and clear with no motion blur. By focusing on a lower angle, I was able to emphasize the flowing water and its intricate details, creating a striking and dynamic shot that conveyed both beauty and stillness.
Secondary Image
I also submitted a photo of the iconic metal ram statue, a symbol of school pride, but although it came close to being chosen, it was ultimately not selected for the card.
